How do we update our availability,

|
You can update availability and rates online
via either Internet or GDS, depending on which platform you have specified.
HUTCHISON-PRICELINE will provide you with assistance if needed.

How long does it take to start
receiving reservations?
|
You can start receiving reservations within 6
working days. All we have to do is show you how our system works and ensure
that your availability and rates are correct.

How do we receive the confirmation /
cancellation for a reservation?
|
Notifications are automatically triggered
when customers book or cancel online. Hotels receive notification in 2
ways - hotels' admin tool, via email or fax*. Guests receive an automatic
confirmation by email. This includes a booking reference, your contact details,
policy and directions to your hotel.

notifications are not always reliable methods of
communication, therefore it is imperative to
regularly check your online hotel bookings page

What rate levels can be set?
|
We help you to set up room types and input
your master internet rates, which may incorporate single, double occupancy
rates. Hotels may also set up seasonal rates for high or low periods. Rates can
also be changed on a daily basis to take advantage of peak periods or to drum
up business.

How do we get paid for the room
reservations?
|
Hutchison Priceline will settle the payment
on monthly basis upon guest checkout

What happens with cancellations and
no-shows?
|
If guests cancel online, you are notified as
you are with reservations. The cancellations policy of the hotels has to be
clearly stated on the HUTCHISON-PRICELINE website. If a guest does not cancel
within the cancellation period stated on the website or in case of a no-show,
hotels will charge a penalty fee (usually of one night). Guests may also
cancel/amend directly with hotels over the phone or by email; in which case we
encourage hotels to notify us.

Do you charge commission on
cancellations and no shows?
|
We do not charge commission for cancellations
made in line with your policy. However, we do customers a fixed cancellation
charge of HKD100 as administration fee.

What can I do to receive more
business through HUTCHISON-PRICELINE?
|
It is important to offer competitive rates,
special offers and enough availability. Also you need to update the system
regularly to see if the rates are correct and also check your statistics.

What is the preferred program at
HUTCHISON-PRICELINE?
|
Preferred hotels receive the special logo
"Preferred Hotel Partner" on their website. This means the hotel will be given
higher scores in terms of ranking in the search results for a certain
destination. Hotels participating in the preferred hotel program have a
contracted minimum allotment throughout the year plus the lowest rates
displayed on the HUTCHISON-PRICELINE site.
